Although I never truly returned to grooming after my surgery in early 2023, it was difficult to come to terms with the fact I could no longer do the job I loved or see all of the pups that I enjoyed caring for, so it took me awhile to post this update. 😭

Update: I’ve had surgery on both hands but recovery is taking longer than originally anticipated. I’ve been undergoing regular physical therapy, and since dog grooming requires heavy use of the hands I’m still avoiding this work to ensure the most optimal recovery. However, I still experience pain in my hands and it’s possible that even after I’ve recovered as best my doctors and I can expect, I may not be able to return to this career 😥. In the meantime we’ll hope for the best and I will provide another update here in the future. Thank you all for your understanding!
To address ongoing issues with my hands I am undergoing hand surgery. Recovery could take a minimum of 1.5 to 4 months per hand, so I will be unable to provide any grooming services during this time.
I realize this is an extended period of time during which I’ll be closed and apologize to any of my regular clients who will need to seek out other grooming options in the meantime. I appreciate your support and understanding 💝.
